Porta potties for haunted houses

Planning a Haunted House? Don’t Forget about your Porta Potties

Summer is coming to an end, and there’s a chill crisp in the air. Crunchy leaf season is almost here in New England – and that means more fall events like apple and pumpkin picking, corn mazes, and our personal favorite – haunted houses. Porta potties for haunted houses and other fall events are perfect for visitors looking to get a good fright in.

If you are planning on hosting a fall event or haunted house for the season, as the event organizer, you will want to make sure that everything goes smoothly for the perfect scare.

Plan for Plenty of Porta Potties for your Haunted House

Fall season is one of the most popular times for outdoor events, including haunted houses. When planning your haunted house for the spooky season, make sure you book enough porta potties. This is because you will want to avoid long bathroom lines and frustrated customers. Having a good number of porta potties for haunted houses and fall events will avoid backups and long lines, and therefore happy customers.

Additionally, if you wait too long to book your porta potties for haunted houses, there’s a chance that you could be out of luck or not have enough – and that is something you want to avoid if at all possible.

During these fall festivals and events, many attendees feast on the finest fall treats, such as candied apples, corn on the cob, pumpkin pies, and more. After some time indulging in these tasty fall treats, nature will call and our top-of-the-line porta potties will be there, so you can rest assured that you can enjoy a haunted house or two – without the mess.

Having plenty of porta potties for haunted houses and fall events will avoid frustration and bad reviews for both you, the event organizers, and event attendees. At Pleasant View Potties, we have the best standard units and wheelchair accessible units for those who want to ensure that their haunted house or fall event has accessibility to all people attending.

Here is a list of local haunted houses around Massachusetts if you are looking for a good scare:

Chambers of Terror in Salem, MA

Witch’s Woods Haunted Hayride and Halloween SCREAMPARK in Westford, MA

SK Pierce’s Haunted Victorian Mansion in Gardner, MA

13th World Fright Park in Palmer, MA

Demented FX in Holyoke, MA

Location, Location, Location

Be sure to choose an appropriate location for your porta potties. Haunted houses are usually surrounded by a lot of farmland, so you want to be sure that you are placing the portable restrooms in a flat, solid location that is easy to find. It is likely that you will not be able to use the haunted house’s restroom as it will be for employees only, or not functioning. You definitely will not have any problem finding Pleasant View’s bright red porta potties.

The porta potties for haunted houses should be in an easy to find location, such as near the entrance, but not taking away from the main, spooky attraction. The area should be free of obstructions that make them hard to spot, and if the ground is uneven or wet, you could end up with a big mess – quite literally – and a massive headache.

Pleasant View Potties - local porta potties for rent in Central Mass and Greater Boston area. Pleasant view is a member of the Worcester Regional and Clinton Area Chambers of Commerce.

Pleasant View Potties joins Worcester Regional and Clinton Area Chambers of Commerce

PleasantViewPotties_OG-Pleasant View joins Worcester Regional and Clinton Area Chambers of CommerceThe Worcester Regional and Clinton Area Chambers of Commerce recently gained their newest member with Pleasant View Potties and continue to grow.

Pleasant View Potties/Waste Removal originally started as a landscaping company and in 2007, owner Dustin Whiteaker decided to develop his business into dumpster rental services. Pleasant View Potties was formed in 2020 and as Customer Service Representative Shauna Sorensen put it, “has been blooming ever since.”

Last May, the Worcester Regional Chamber of Commerce announced the establishment of their new affiliate chamber: the Clinton Area Chamber of Commerce. The town was previously home to the Wachusetts Chamber, until it dissolved in 2012. This gave birth to Discover Clinton, where businesses in the area worked together to promote the town and support local businesses.

According to USChamber.com, “a chamber of commerce is a group of businesses that supports the interests of its members. Each chamber of commerce will elect its own leadership and decide what agendas to pursue. A chamber does not create laws, but they may influence pro-business policies by lobbying legislators.”

“We were looking to get our name and business out there, and we knew that networking within the Worcester Regional Chamber of Commerce was going to be massive,” said Sorensen. She goes on to mention that not a lot of people realize how much actually goes into having a porta potty and Pleasant View is here to help other businesses make informed decisions.

When a business based in Clinton joins the Clinton Area Chamber of Commerce, they also receive membership to the Worcester Regional Chamber of Commerce, the largest chamber in New England. These chambers of commerce provide more networking opportunities for local businesses to be able to promote themselves, network, and support each other across 35 cities and towns in the Central Massachusetts area.

“We are excited to be in it right at the beginning,” said Sorensen. “There are so many different businesses and people with different events that got us thinking about who to network with and thinking about potential clients.”

The support for local businesses is not unfamiliar territory for Pleasant View, as said by Sorensen in the recent Daily Radio Blast on WCRN 830 AM station with the Worcester Regional Chamber of Commerce. You can listen to the entire interview by clicking here.

We really take pride in the communities around us,” she said in her interview. “We really try to help out towns and the events that are going on in the local area.”

MeadowBrook Orchards, Bolton Orchards, and the towns of Sterling, Clinton, Rutland, and Stow are a few of the local towns and businesses that Pleasant View Potties supports.

Sorensen went on to say that event organizers should take a look into how much usage a porta potty would be getting, depending on the size of the event. Pleasant View specializes in portable restrooms for events, which are sanitized, clean, and ready to go for any size event, town fair, or festival.

Pleasant View has both standard units and ADA-compliant, wheelchair accessible portable restroom units for your specific needs, such as a construction site, demolition site, fairs and events, athletic fields, and more, serving the Central Massachusetts area.

“What sets us apart is our hands-on approach we have with our customers. We are willing to go above and beyond to satisfy their needs in a timely and pleasant manner,” said Sorensen.

You can find the red porta potties at the Bolton and Sterling fairs, as well as Clinton’s very own Olde Home Day, coming up in August and September.
