PleasantViewPotties_OG-Pleasant View joins Worcester Regional and Clinton Area Chambers of CommerceThe Worcester Regional and Clinton Area Chambers of Commerce recently gained their newest member with Pleasant View Potties and continue to grow.

Pleasant View Potties/Waste Removal originally started as a landscaping company and in 2007, owner Dustin Whiteaker decided to develop his business into dumpster rental services. Pleasant View Potties was formed in 2020 and as Customer Service Representative Shauna Sorensen put it, “has been blooming ever since.”

Last May, the Worcester Regional Chamber of Commerce announced the establishment of their new affiliate chamber: the Clinton Area Chamber of Commerce. The town was previously home to the Wachusetts Chamber, until it dissolved in 2012. This gave birth to Discover Clinton, where businesses in the area worked together to promote the town and support local businesses.

According to USChamber.com, “a chamber of commerce is a group of businesses that supports the interests of its members. Each chamber of commerce will elect its own leadership and decide what agendas to pursue. A chamber does not create laws, but they may influence pro-business policies by lobbying legislators.”

“We were looking to get our name and business out there, and we knew that networking within the Worcester Regional Chamber of Commerce was going to be massive,” said Sorensen. She goes on to mention that not a lot of people realize how much actually goes into having a porta potty and Pleasant View is here to help other businesses make informed decisions.

When a business based in Clinton joins the Clinton Area Chamber of Commerce, they also receive membership to the Worcester Regional Chamber of Commerce, the largest chamber in New England. These chambers of commerce provide more networking opportunities for local businesses to be able to promote themselves, network, and support each other across 35 cities and towns in the Central Massachusetts area.

“We are excited to be in it right at the beginning,” said Sorensen. “There are so many different businesses and people with different events that got us thinking about who to network with and thinking about potential clients.”

The support for local businesses is not unfamiliar territory for Pleasant View, as said by Sorensen in the recent Daily Radio Blast on WCRN 830 AM station with the Worcester Regional Chamber of Commerce. You can listen to the entire interview by clicking here.

We really take pride in the communities around us,” she said in her interview. “We really try to help out towns and the events that are going on in the local area.”

MeadowBrook Orchards, Bolton Orchards, and the towns of Sterling, Clinton, Rutland, and Stow are a few of the local towns and businesses that Pleasant View Potties supports.

Sorensen went on to say that event organizers should take a look into how much usage a porta potty would be getting, depending on the size of the event. Pleasant View specializes in portable restrooms for events, which are sanitized, clean, and ready to go for any size event, town fair, or festival.

Pleasant View has both standard units and ADA-compliant, wheelchair accessible portable restroom units for your specific needs, such as a construction site, demolition site, fairs and events, athletic fields, and more, serving the Central Massachusetts area.

“What sets us apart is our hands-on approach we have with our customers. We are willing to go above and beyond to satisfy their needs in a timely and pleasant manner,” said Sorensen.

You can find the red porta potties at the Bolton and Sterling fairs, as well as Clinton’s very own Olde Home Day, coming up in August and September.
